Terms of Service

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Welcome to Bloc. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bloc website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using Bloc, you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform overview

Bloc is a pickleball booking platform that connects Players with court operators ("Operators") in the Philippines. Bloc allows Players to discover Spots, book Courts, and join Open Play sessions. Operators use Bloc to publish availability, accept bookings, receive payouts, and manage Open Play.

Bloc is the technology provider. The actual play session is delivered by the Operator who manages the Court.

2. Accounts

You may need to create an account to use parts of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Bookings and payments

When you book a Court through Bloc, you enter into a booking arrangement with the Operator. Bloc facilitates this booking and processes payment through licensed third-party payment providers. The total amount, including any convenience fee, is shown before you confirm a booking.

A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully captured and you receive a confirmation from Bloc.

4. Operator responsibilities

Operators are responsible for the safety, condition, and operation of their Spots and Courts, for honoring confirmed bookings, and for complying with applicable local laws and regulations.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to disrupt the service, submit false information, or use Bloc for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bloc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Negros Oriental.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email.
